SVL Information

Welcome!
Welcome to the University of Arizona's Searchable Video Library or SVL. This service has been designed to provide students and faculty access to video presentations and taped class lectures through a searchable interface. Videos are transcribed by state-of-the-art voice recognition or closed-captioning so that the spoken text of the presentation can be searched.

Tutorial:
If this is your first visit to the SVL or you would like to learn more about using this service, please feel free to take our simple tutorial.

User Survey:

The SVL requires a JavaScript enabled web browser and the RealPlayer plug-in. The SVL will work with most recent browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and better and Netscape Navigator 7.0 and better. For best results, we recommend using the latest version of your browser of choice.
